I had an issue happen today on my locally hosted game(the one from in the game itself, not the separate EcoServer one). I had somewhere to be for a few hours but friends wanted to join so I jumped in the game to make it live and went to rest and that was that. I get a message that the day/night cycle is moving very fast and the server was glitching out. I got my wife to shut it down(I wasn’t home) and came back to do some digging. This looks like an issue other have had, but their solution was to make sure fast forward was set to false in the Sleep.template file, I checked and it was already set to false. I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again and if it’s pretty rare to happen and i was unlucky of if there is more to look at and see. Maybe it’s better to run the separate dedicated server application from steam?

As others mentioned, you want to change the Sleep.eco file. The template file exists so administrators can update their configurations based on them after a game update without us overriding their settings. The non-template file, if existing, takes priority over the template file.
