11s we'll uh go over some of the
15s uh an older feature that hasn't been
18s that hasn't really been highlighted as
19s much because it um it's been a few
22s things that we'd like to have changed
24s with it we've also gotten a ton of
26s feedback that uh has been absolutely
29s astronomical in
32s uh in um kind of going over and and kind
36s of see what that ped back is and um how
38s we're changing what we're doing with it
39s to make it a little bit
41s more um user friendly user able and and
46s easier to understand and so on and so
48s forth um we'll also show off the
51s lighthouse lamp that we teased a little
54s bit about
55s it's finally kind of done asset wise and
59s uh uh everything set up as well as the
62s town Bell the town Bell is not sounding
64s anything yet but
66s uh that is something that we're looking
69s at remedying as well so just give me a
71s second here and we'll
74s uh switch over right away um so this
78s might be a little bit of a shorter
79s stream since it's it's it's not kind of
82s taking you
84s through crazy why did that not

100s so kind of maybe maybe some people are
102s finding this interesting somehow maybe
108s perhaps uh yeah we we got the two cats
111s that decided now is an excellent time to
115s play after after Ethan and everything
118s else so they're they're going to be
119s rumaging around in the background
121s try to ignore them as much as
123s possible uh if if

131s so actually a good thing so when when
134s the art team composes an item or an
137s object um it needs to be hooked up in
139s unity and this is using addressables for
142s anyone that's kind of tinkering in with
143s the dep tier stuff and the easiest way
146s to do that if we just hop out of play
148s mode CU I wanted to show how the power
151s hammer is looking now
153s and uh it's finally in so we're going to
157s go here we're going to look for the
158s power
159s hammer we're going to grab the
162s prefab I did set it up as as an
165s addressable why did that not save did it
167s just not save
170s properly
175s maybe maybe just Unity being being very
179s sad
183s um but yeah so on on exhaustion what is
186s it what do we mean by exhaustion um some
190s people might be uh familiar with the
193s term and it is a a state of the game
197s where it's limiting you into the
200s quantity of time you can
203s spend kind of doing stuff in terms of
206s spending labor you know adding labor to
207s work orders doing actual work in terms
210s of so you know grabbing a pickaxe
211s chopping away with a piece of rock and
212s and so on so forth um and it was
216s introduced as a way to kind of mitigate
219s the discrepancy between servers that
222s might be wanting to to have more of a
224s casual approach or um to a community
228s that might not have
230s a a large volume of spare
233s time but don't want to you know have a
237s single group of people just completely
240s buzzing away from
243s everyone is that just not initialized
245s properly here modern
250s Hammer no power hammer just doesn't want
253s to play nice I
256s guess getting the change locally oh
259s we'll see if I can switch over Branch to
261s uh to the one one the other to the other
264s one to show that Al is is the rest of
266s the objects
268s working like tell
272s yeah those are working let me give Town

280s um doesn't have the the the thing set up
283s but yeah so we'll we'll we'll get to

286s um yeah so exhaustion is basically a way
288s to limit the quantity of time you can
290s spend doing stuff
292s versus um you can you know you can still
295s do activities that doesn't require hard
297s calorie when you're performing those
299s actions
302s um so that would be things
305s like uh pull up daytime here um so that
309s would be things like you know moving
311s around in a truck depending on the
313s settings um to buy stuff sell stuff um
317s logistically moving things around um
319s interacting with stores and and the
321s whole government system and so on so
323s forth because that's stuff you can do
326s without spending labor to do
328s them um so the exhaustion system kind of
331s came into fruition as a means to
333s directly limit raw resource
337s Generation Um so mining uh you know wood
341s cutting and and so on where you where
343s you accumulate raw material to be able
345s to process it and kind of keep feeding
347s the industry and keep feeding the
349s research
351s um and be a better way to for service to
354s be able to deal with
355s that um however as anyone that has
359s tinkered with with it has noticed that
361s there are a few flaws with it as is
363s right now and we've gotten a lot of
365s feedback in terms of what people will
369s want to be able to customize with it
372s versus what's just directly hard set
375s limits internally that they can't
377s adjust um as well as kind of more just
381s generally more settings to make it fit
383s their Community
384s better as the alternative have basically
387s been not using it at all and um there
390s are a few servers that are using it um
394s formerly Eco world with Monsoon
397s at and one of the Helms um has been
399s absolutely amazing in in getting some
402s feedback um surrounding that because
404s they've been running the exhaustion
405s system and and tweaked it a little bit
407s locally
410s um um to make it fit their Community um
413s so we've taken a lot of feedback from
415s that um and kind of baking that
418s in uh simplifying tool tips and just
424s making it a bit easier to
426s understand so one of the things that we
429s we significantly overhaul is the whole
431s rollover mechanic or where time not
434s spent is
436s accumulated indefinitely to kind of keep
439s like if you know if you're if you're
441s allocated 4 hours per day but you're
444s only playing two days or two hours one
446s day and then instead of those two hours
450s that you saved being lost making sure
453s that they they are kind of saved up to
455s be utilized up to a certain limit
459s threshold and that was something that
462s didn't really work as well as we wanted
464s it to
467s um yeah basically battery storage and
470s and and the cats are going nuts being
473s very
475s vocal um so yeah we we're changing the
479s these out as we're kind of going along
482s and it's it's a few the few pieces left
486s on that system upgrade that is going
489s into 10.2 um it's kind of the the last
494s bits and and big feature change that's
496s going into 10.2 so once that's done we
499s should be in a pretty good state to be
500s able to roll out a play test
502s possibly I need a cat webcam oh the it
506s it it would need to be Mobile roaming
508s around and tracking them as they rumage
510s around the
511s apartment um they are they are running
514s back and forth quite a quite a handsome
516s bit um but yeah so generally setting
521s wise you're you're able to turn in how
523s much how much time you accumulate per
525s day um we also wanted to add in a system
528s where you are able to Define how much
532s time on specific days so say you get a
535s small portion on weekdays and then you
537s get more during the weekends that's
540s something that Monsoon was using that we
542s really liked and wanted to kind of bake
545s into um the vanilla aspect of it and
549s then just giving more flesh to this tool
553s tip to kind of explain better to make it
555s legible and um without kind of over
559s empowering with text so this is not the
563s final form of it but
567s um um it's on the way to
572s progress um we're also moving all the
574s exhaustion related things into its own
576s configuration
578s file it's still a work in progress
581s making Way Forward but we are separating
584s that out from the current it was nested
588s in I think difficulty
590s settings if I remember
596s correctly um is there a soft cap option
598s where calerie gets gets more and more
600s expensive um it is a good question it's
602s something that
604s we we were looking at and it might it
607s might be something that we follow up
609s with further improvements to the system
612s um it's not at the moment it's currently
614s it'll just outright just like hard cap
617s you and say hey you can't do this um but
621s we also wanted to do things
624s like um we also wanted to do things like
627s being able to specify exactly which
629s inter actions you're limited
631s by um can we build and trade with
634s exhaustion trade yes build is a tricky
636s question because trade or uh building is
641s involving um like if you look at uh road
645s construction for instance like
647s infrastructure
648s building you're building with a
650s hammer
652s um while you're still doing like
655s significant improvements to the general
656s surrounding areas or you know PL
659s plausibly progression stuff so it's
662s probably on the borderline but it it it
663s is something that we want to be able to
665s specify whether or not a server
669s allows um specific interaction such as
673s you know build place
675s or um mine dig and so on so forth so you
680s know a little bit of leeway in terms of
683s what you can do interaction
685s wise um but a few of those are still on
687s the stretch goal for 10.2 so they might
689s not make it in that
691s update
693s um we also wanted to introduce that
696s whole piece of if you just sit down idly
700s on decoration Furniture like seats and
703s uh benches and so on it pauses
705s exhaustion so it's not constantly being
708s used if you're going idle or AFK or and
710s so
712s on um yeah trading
715s so
717s um vehicles are intended to be able to
720s be toggleable on the server side so the
723s server would dictate whether or not
724s certain Vehicles can be used or
728s not um we also wanted to make sure that
732s there is
733s a I call it tactical toilet
737s yeah um we also wanted to add in some
740s quality of life things for when you're
741s looking in the server list for finding
744s servers with
745s exhaustion
748s um versus you know if you want to be
751s searching for them rather than you know
754s not finding them and and so on so forth
756s so just a whole slew
759s of kind
761s of how to find them when to find them
764s using toilets should refill
766s exhaustion
769s um I mean it's not impossible to make a
772s mod that does
774s that use toilet once every two hours and
776s it adds half an hour or something
785s um so yeah there there's there's a whole
788s bunch of qualitative life things and any
790s feedback surrounding it just pop it in
794s there um hit me up or hit Dennis up
798s um as we'd like to see more servers take
802s advantage of the exhaustion
804s system cuz we think that it can be quite
807s powerful and quite helpful in a lot of
809s scenarios where people are being
812s overwhelmed by someone you know spending
814s 18 hours straight progressing to through
817s mechanics and suddenly they have a whole
820s bunch of trucks out and no one no one
823s barely has a an iron
826s axe um so there are a lot of strength to
830s it
838s um
846s uh could there be an option for the
847s mayor or server owner to bake some
849s energy cookies in case they need more
850s emergency work done in a single day um
854s so from an admin perspective there are a
856s few things you can do um you can use uh
861s I think it should be taking a user
866s I so you have exhaust
870s which is basically draining you
873s completely and then you
875s have uh
878s energize which adds another hour per I
882s think it takes parameters as well
885s um see what it says yeah so it takes um
890s the energized command takes a Target
892s which is opal if you don't have a Target
894s it'll Target itself and then the
896s quantity of hours it adds to that
904s um sandfish I'd love a way to past the
907s exhaus to be able to enter build mode
909s and not end up building after reaching
911s exhaustion yeah the the the issue with
914s that is that it's very very
917s exploitative in that regard like we
920s don't want to introduce something that
921s kind of forces people to have to use
923s commands um as like a general approach
927s to the game

934s um but on the other hand I do kind of
938s like what you're what you're kind of
941s going for with
945s it
949s actually let's do a fly let's do a while
953s I'm just idly chatting and's see if I

979s block but it it it might not

1001s energy on it and instead of exhausting
1003s the player it can exhaust the tool and
1004s the serona can give out tools for that
1006s kind of

1014s um it's not a bad idea but it's it could
1018s also be kind of
1021s weird um Community
1028s Hammer uh that extra energy could be
1030s nice for something like a day of the sea
1032s level rise and everyone could go over
1033s their building limit they limit building
1036s sand walls to protect the city is
1037s something unexpected
1041s um I mean it's not it's not completely
1045s impossible um but it's it you know
1049s we also kind of want the tool usage to
1052s be sane in that
1054s regard uh maybe it didn't like the
1058s Sandstone block or it didn't like the
1060s granite
1067s block El might it's not liking
1072s it I know I had this you I I I I know it
1077s works
1080s oh yeah it's it's not you it's not

1088s go look at that and then we just we do
1092s we do a level here freaking space
1099s usage Elma is also lost in in uh in that

1124s exhaustion like there's there's like I
1126s said any any and all feedback about um
1129s especially from server owners but also
1130s from General users that
1132s would um you know enjoy it might not be
1137s the right term but
1139s maybe just not be
1143s um but that is a Mischief is cat
1145s wrecking stuff again

1157s go um but yeah because the goal of it is
1161s is basically down to making making it
1164s more of an even playing field between
1166s people that not necessarily having a
1168s whole whole bunch of
1171s time um versus people that uh can spend
1175s a lot more server owners may like less
1178s exhaustion on the
1180s resources I'm not entirely catching what
1184s you mean by
1192s that uh any thoughts around early game
1195s balance and Gathering papers being
1197s needed for basic upgrades also so need
1199s to be the M
1201s um upgrades in general is is going to
1203s get a bit of a
1205s doover
1206s um here within
1210s within a fairly reasonable
1213s time
1216s um that uh will kind of shift things
1219s around a bit um but it'll also be um the
1224s whole the whole maintenance stuff that
1226s we're working on is also going to shift
1228s a lot of things in um in that regards
1230s because right now upgrades are basically
1232s the only way to kind
1233s of have a lot of the professions being
1236s involved in some way or shape and with
1239s the maintenance that's going to shift a
1241s little bit so the the the general
1243s upgrades are going to be having a little
1244s bit of a different
1246s cost
1248s um and not be as kind of entwined with
1253s some of the professions that they
1254s currently
1255s are
1257s um
1275s that's probably
1276s fine so let's grab that what do we want
1279s to build this out of granite maybe
1282s farmers are too rich now need something
1284s for them to buy to buy and spend their
1286s money on um t that that is also
1289s something that is going to kind of
1291s Shuffle things around I think it's 3x3
1294s we need we need a 7 by

1329s maybe uh I've run some servers for my
1331s community and we've always had that one
1333s guy that no life that this is wonderful
1335s to have to keep people on a More Level
1337s Playing Field the only issue I have with
1339s it sometimes is that we want to have
1340s events or have things that need to be
1341s done for the great good for the entire
1343s server and I wouldn't want people to
1344s expend their own exhaustion for it hence
1346s they'd be idea for a build tool or I
1348s guess a
1350s food um yeah I like you can definitely
1354s do
1355s um um some moding stuff for it we might
1358s even
1360s do um it's not a bad idea actually I
1362s might um I might throw in some code
1366s related to just like refill exhaustion
1369s on the um e
1373s coant
1375s uh when will the Avatar part scarf when
1378s flying around or stop appearing in from
1380s it is actually related to some pieces of
1384s clothing specifically that is kind of
1386s cropping
1387s out
1389s um our team is kind of looking at it
1391s we're we're we're trying to figure out
1395s what the best approach to it is we also
1398s kind of might actually just
1401s do SL
1405s util can do that that should render me
1408s completely invisible
1437s yeah
1444s I think four shifts
1448s yeah um always like the idea of start
1450s going up faster people who have less
1453s Stars than the average on the
1456s server um yeah there Dennis was talking
1460s to me about it and we we have a bit of a
1463s catchup mechanic on
1466s tiger and apparently the cat is
1471s wrecking
1472s things um we were we were talking about
1476s it and there is uh for anyone that that
1480s is in here that is playing on or have
1482s played on white
1483s tiger um we have a kind of catch-up
1487s mechanic where yeah that's what cats do
1490s best um where you can join a
1495s server way later and it gives you a
1501s should I have it four versus three just
1504s to kind
1505s of be confusing
1508s maybe
1512s um where you kind of get a more a higher
1516s XP gain by joining later or well you
1519s know it wouldn't be higher XP gain but
1521s it
1523s um gives you experience based
1526s on the base level experience gain over
1529s the course of those days so you're not
1530s starting at blank just one
1534s star you have the benefit of being able
1538s to at least get a chunk of XP so you
1540s might even get two stars from the
1543s start
1545s um on that and kind of wanted to bake
1549s that into the base game so that's
1552s probably going to make it in um if that
1554s makes it into 10.2 we'll
1556s see um it is
1559s possibly um I'm also looking at changing
1562s out and editing some of the
1564s um is this is an expensive Lighthouse
1568s yeah um maybe it would look better with
1575s um the corners in
1580s Granite what do you
1582s think just kind of shift the colors
1584s around a little

1825s it's cashed on clients um um it
1832s is it's a bit of a tricky thing and it's
1835s it's like tech-wise it's because of how
1837s it's currently initializing the recipes

1842s um but we are looking at doing some
1844s changes
1845s to the general system for recipes
1853s um to do a bit of an upgrade pass and to
1855s kind of Shuffle these things around
1858s um cuz we want to move away from having
1862s plain script
1863s files and have it behave um or you know
1867s being exposed in some type
1871s of um scriptable form um like you know
1877s internal script so either
1879s by uh Lua or if it's in just plain Json
1885s and just red as Asis
1889s um gives us a bit more control I mean
1893s it's it's I'm not a
1894s builder and for not being a builder it's
1898s a

2002s fog um we have some of it so there are a
2006s few things with you know it's still kind
2008s of lighting through lighting through
2010s some walls that he's looking into and
2012s polishing um and it's it's a result from
2015s having to use certain things to work
2018s well with the curved Shader as is um so
2021s there's still a few polished things
2022s surrounding it however I think he got it
2026s looking absolutely freaking Stellar in
2028s terms of effect
2030s wise
2033s um I like it it it looks it it has a
2036s little bit of a spooky feeling to it
2041s um and he has he has a few visual polish
2044s things for it coming but
2046s um one of those things that just adds
2049s more flavor and more life to some of the
2053s um some of the objects and and entities
2054s so that's it's it's pretty pretty
2066s nice
2067s but it doesn't have an onoff button at
2069s the moment just do
2073s that false there we
2076s go we can do time
2083s node so it has the giant light bulb in
2087s the middle and it looks pretty pretty
2090s rad even with it
2092s off wouldn't want a meteor to fly too
2095s low no definitely
2098s so this is using an electrical engine
2101s meaning it'll be electric um
2103s electrically
2107s powered um so it it has a bit of a a bit
2111s of a thing uh alternative for pre power
2113s not at the moment but while they were
2115s working on this thing they they you know
2117s felt like it'd be cool if we had
2120s something for that so it is it is
2122s something that you're looking
2123s into uh yeah like a bonfire thing or or
2126s you know a
2128s a
2129s giant um fueled pan or or something that
2134s just works on combustible fuel um but
2138s still has kind of the same functionality
2141s for it a g calls for Aid
2145s um and then we have another another
2148s thing that um put it on some Granite
2152s just to uh kind of showcase it uh we
2155s have another another object that uh not
2159s roofs thank you don't need
2161s roofs there we
2163s go uh we have another another thing that
2166s uh is making its approach as well some
2169s people saw it as on the screenshot stuff
2171s and uh ignore the
2174s red um that's Remnant for me playing
2176s around a little bit with the paint
2179s stuff
2181s um maybe we can go in and fix the
2183s material for it
2186s uh
2193s Bell uh we want to go in
2196s on if I remember correctly where that
2201s thing
2206s was inside the ls

2259s objects on the multing side of
2263s things uh eot terrorist Among Us mething

2268s moment it it's just looping the
2269s animation that's it it will be kind of
2272s stationary um possibly on
2276s uh normally and then you interact with
2278s it to cause it to ring and then it'll
2280s ring for a bit and then stop
2284s ringing so it'll be it'll be nice and
2287s have you know audio to it and everything
2291s else um it's a work in
2295s progress but I was hoping to have it
2299s looking differently but that's probably
2301s fine
2306s um
2310s actually hang
2311s on we can we
2313s can we can actually do that let's

2362s here this might also be helpful for
2364s anyone that is is working on the project
2366s or or poking at it in on the dev tier
2369s side of
2369s things um if you update to the
2373s latest uh visual studio
2377s um it'll probably
2379s flag issues with um net packages um and
2385s so on just jump into the global. Json
2388s file and switch out the versioning on
2391s your SDK use for um what you have
2395s installed so anything about about 701
2397s should
2399s work um if it's complaining about launch
2403s instead of having to kind of grab all
2406s the packages and and so on so
2409s forth uh Visual Studio did an update
2412s where um any kind of security
2415s vulnerability in uh it it it would be
2418s the same um it
2422s just the latest Visual Studio update
2425s made it a lot more rigid in terms of
2429s security so when it runs into new get
2431s packages that are out of date or um out
2434s of date in particular due to security
2437s vulnerabilities detected it it's a
2440s Boolean flag they have on it um it it'll
2444s crash the project it just won't let it
2447s compile yeah basically um the latest
2450s Visual Studio update just refused to run
2452s the project with those
2455s anymore um um so you can manually go
2458s into new get packages and update to the
2460s latest stable of the same minor version
2464s in most of the cases um if it hasn't
2466s been updated from our side
2473s um yeah I'll I'll I'll I'll do that um I
2478s also need to go over and update the dep
2480s here Wiki
2482s on
2485s um
2487s uh on repository as well to kind of
2490s update versioning and and packages and
2492s and
2494s whatnot let's do that and Let's do let's
2498s grab the latest staging build and we
2500s should be
2507s good
2510s maybe see if it runs if it wants to play
2514s nice think so
2518s I think I had my changes in uh in the
2520s latest build they should be in
2526s here so we've got the lighthouse the the
2529s lighthouse lamp um which is in we've got
2532s the power hammer and and all of the
2534s things related to blacksmithing in um I
2537s missed a a few recipes that I completely
2540s missed
2543s um but that is in in a pending PR here
2546s shortly
2547s um once that's in the whole smelting
2550s rework is basically in so if you do want
2552s to take a look at what that entails and
2555s how how much it's changing and what it's
2558s changing you can do that on the staging
2562s Branch uh let's do that skip that did it

2831s of the things in 10.3 and the
2833s maintenance update we are looking at
2835s theg grading tools with each repair so
2838s the more you repair them the worse they
2840s get eventually they're just not going to
2841s be worth it um and you can of scrap the
2844s old tools and get new ones
2846s so you know we'll we'll talk more on
2849s that subject um once we get 10.2 out the
2854s door uh there was there
2857s was what was the other
2861s one uh maybe that was
2864s it uh yeah and then we have a few a few
2867s other things that are cooking um have an
2870s extruder that I wanted to uh get in as
2873s well but we just simply don't have the
2875s time for it
2877s so that'll make that'll make an

2881s I'll shift over the pipes and some of
2884s the other

2895s controversial molds

2939s smelt iron copper and

2950s bricks and you have a ceramic one which
2953s is more St more more sturdy and used to
2956s craft

2963s um yeah I'll take a look I'll I'll need
2966s to take a look at this the the store
2967s stuff so in in in in uh Version 9 we
2970s were able to buy crops and meals rather
2972s fresh and they would still take into
2974s into account everything we had in the
2975s store but right now it's just looking
2977s and and filtering on the level of
2980s threshold

3030s its ingredient
3035s input it is using iron concentrate so

3048s between smelters are
3052s still very much mandatory in a lot of
3055s things overall because iron ingots or
3057s iron bars are still being used all over
3059s the place continuously as well as the
3062s tools but we didn't want to
3065s have advanced smelting be hard dependent
3069s on
3070s smelting we wanted to kind of Branch it
3074s off a little bit because Advanced
3076s smelting essentially meant you had to
3078s get smelting
3082s um with the change in overlap that means
3085s that you are
3087s less um you are more you're you're open
3091s to a more varying profession
3094s selection rather than you have to pick
3097s both you know you you you can't get away
3099s with
3102s it um it takes twice the amount because
3106s it's producing twice the
3113s amount and charcoal also has a bit of a
3115s a change up as well um like charcoal
3117s keeps being kind of shifted around but
3120s you now have a separate recipe and a new
3122s recipe usage for it so you got dense
3125s charcoal which is using H

3130s logs um and you also have a use for it
3134s as well in terms of ink which is used
3137s for uh the printing supplies to be able
3139s to copy and print like uh upload
3144s textures
3149s um as for the actual like cost ratios to
3151s craft Shar holes and and and back and
3153s forth is probably something that will be
3156s uh continuously tweaked as we push
3160s things
3162s around
3164s um so there's a lot of things that's
3166s happening economically in this
3172s change um but yeah looking forward to
3175s seeing how how how crazy this is going
3177s to get and as you can see for the molds
3179s you are getting return mold um and we
3183s have also reintroduce that for the
3187s bricks as
3189s well
3191s um so you basically have um one clay
3195s mold is I think I'm running it
3198s on uh just let me check the
3201s collaboration level just so we have
3203s proper numbers showing here let switch
3206s this out to
3208s uh switch this out to high and then
3211s obviously I get massive quantity of
3213s assertions because I'm running a
3215s debug give me a second while I spam

3226s get and and note that this is not using
3229s modules so for one clay you getting four
3233s molds which will reduce to half a clay
3236s clay which means you
3238s need um half a piece of Clay on Max

3251s basically 12 bars for half a
3256s clay which means it's not going to be a
3258s significant cost in terms of how much
3260s clay you need because you know out of a
3263s th000 clay you can produce
3267s uh with 24,000 iron bars
3271s um but it it's just having that
3274s dependency that is what we're looking
3276s for it's not
3277s necessarily hugely costly for
3282s it um molds molds uh the the um the
3287s return feedback on them works the same
3289s way as barrels so it's going to decrease
3290s the quantity of molds you get back at
3292s the same rate you reduce the quantity
3294s required so it's always going to have a
3299s drain
3304s um um Zach the reason why there's a
3307s different recipe is because one of them
3309s is using the rate is different between
3312s shal versus coal it's no longer using
3315s the tag
3318s coal um so because of the value the
3322s value sh coal versus regular coal
3329s um so hopefully we should see some some
3331s interesting interesting potential of
3333s this uh being
3338s involved uh oh look at that and and we
3341s get an amazing Unity crash there as well
3343s um but we are coming up on on about an
3346s hour so I think maybe maybe it be a good
3349s time to uh to kind of cut it a little
3351s bit short there
3354s um see if there's anything anything else

3365s um now so you know it's kind of a
3368s summary thing with the exhaustion being
3371s something that we are very keenly
3373s looking into uh we want to make sure
3375s that it gets appropriate love and
3378s attention to make it very very usable um
3382s and very customizable right now it's
3384s it's a little bit rigid and a little bit
3386s too

3392s um death defeat there power hammer and
3394s blast bur needs to be in the same room
3396s for rebars yes yes there's there's a few
3398s modular dependencies that have been
3400s changed um so you're going to have a bit
3402s of a more Workshop type necessity around
3406s it um yeah it works pretty much the same
3408s as the mechanic the mechanic in the
3410s industry workshop and that's something
3412s that will take over and kind of apply to
3414s a lot of the other professional as well
3415s carpentry and logging Etc is is going to
3418s be suffering the same thing
3421s um looking at like some turntables some
3424s some wooden laths and uh some other
3426s Machinery that we can fit in there that
3428s just expands on the profession a bit and
3431s expands more on the workshop space
3433s required to do these
3437s things

3442s that mean concrete is locked behind
3443s electricity um
3447s yes but concrete is like electricity is
3450s available at the same time as the cement
3452s kill in anyway because you have the
3453s steam
3457s engine
3461s um instead of upgrades you could have
3464s tables added to the room um there's
3465s going to be a little bit of a both
3469s scenarios we're kind of looking at what
3471s we can do with the upgrades themselves
3473s um in terms of dependencies
3476s um oh yeah sorry um steam engine makes
3479s mechanical Power noise yeah
3482s the uh the routing path in my head kind
3485s of shifted things around um it makes
3487s sense once you start building things um
3490s the combustion engine is available
3492s earlier
3495s because so and so um the steam engine is
3500s made initially to be able to feed the
3502s Machinery in the workshop and then the
3505s combustion engine which you get at the
3507s end of the mechanics
3509s progression enables the industry parts
3512s and enables you to get into that tier
3514s three um as you still need um you still
3518s need electricity to run like the Rolling
3520s Mill to do corrugated
3522s steel so having electricity as kind of a
3525s Gateway into concrete made sense um you
3530s can have that stepping stone of you're
3532s at the end of the mechanical part you
3534s can't just kind of
3536s slick
3538s into um concrete right away without
3541s taking that
3542s leap
3545s um so that's something that we kind of
3547s wanted to unify bit
3550s um and then you have like Midway through
3553s industry you have the the expansion into
3555s tier
3557s four um so there you know a few recipe
3560s changes there and a few progression path
3562s changes there um we're also looking at
3564s doing some fancy things with the perks
3566s and and
3568s whatnot um so yeah there you know more
3571s things are coming um hopefully everyone
3573s is is super stoked for it um General
3576s date for release of 10.2 we are looking
3579s at at least getting a play test
3583s going uh probably as soon as possible
3587s I'd say uh but we'll have more of an
3589s announcement date once we
3591s are once everything's kind of stable um
3598s and
3600s uh yeah
3602s um we'll we'll update with that
3606s um but we'll probably have news on it in
3609s in Fairly short time I think

3621s um all green energy will basically not
3623s be green energy in the future
3626s um we are looking at introducing ways to
3629s generate pollution generate garbage out

3632s everything um the maintenance stuff is
3635s going to really rock the boat in that
3637s regards so you're going to need to
3639s refill stuff in the workbenches you're
3641s going to need to refill things in the
3642s Power Machinery and whatnot and this can
3645s be anything from mechanical parts that
3647s you assemble or um you know lubricant
3650s and oil oilbased products and so on so
3653s forth so that's going to be a huge thing
3656s when we have that in we're probably
3659s going to look at tweaking the power
3661s values for some of those green energy
3663s Parts the reason why they're producing
3664s so little at the moment is just to
3667s offset the fact that they are infinite
3670s free 100% green
3672s energy which has always been a huge
3675s problem in terms of
3676s Eco um environment because we want
3680s pollution to be a big part of it even if
3681s it's a lot better it's still still going
3685s to be producing or causing some
3687s pollution in its maintenance
3690s basically um and we also want to shift
3693s away a bit from the whole um at the
3697s current state of how pollution works and
3699s and how everything kind of works in the
3701s game um you can get to a point where you
3705s completely mitigate all pollution across
3708s the board like air pollution dissipates
3711s over
3712s time um there's no permanent pollution
3714s there's no permanent
3715s damage um and that's something that we
3717s kind of want to dig into and
3719s see
3721s um what we want to be shifting into and
3724s and kind
3725s of really digging into um into that part
3730s of the Eco um aspect of the game rather
3733s than our our you know our last kind of
3736s two years have been very very heavily
3737s focused into Civics and the settlement
3740s system and kind of everything around
3743s that um
3747s it uh it definitely is something that we
3749s want to we want to really spend the year
3752s on upgrading some of our our other big
3755s core gameplay
3757s pillars um so I you know it's going to
3759s be an interesting ride this year um it's
3761s going to be a lot of fun it's going to
3762s be a lot of new things and a lot of cool
3765s features
