[2022] game not loading in vr

I have a quest 2 and previously the game would load fine into vr, but my computer would overheat and crash (fixed that problem after 2 hours of computer surgery today). However, when I try to launch it now, all I get is a black screen on my computer with some text in the lower left hand corner that says "edServer: machine=(numbers)" and "Elite:Dangerous Odyssey compatability update (3.8.405), more letters and numbers" On the headset it just eternally says the game is loading but nothing changes. I can hear the startup sounds from the game but can't see anything. Has anyone encountered this before?
