[2023] Client access failed message

Trying to get elite working on a new pc and whenever I try and start the game I get a message saying “client access failed. Check your internet connection and try again”. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Tried changing firewall settings. Anyone have any ideas for how to get this working?
