No, we have had no downtime apart from when today's update went through.
We do though recommend a cache clear and restart at the very least after you move to new versions of the game. This prevents the old code your device has saved clashing with the new codes.

@SmillaJaspersen, have you rebooted your modem as well? There could be old data in that cache too. :)
