[2019] Water

Yes, this is still planned, but fluid water is as complext to do. Don't quote me on that (because this is not yet scheduled at all), but some kind of "fluidity" may be added in the future. :-)

Boiling the water is already a step up from base line.
There was a time when i left all my food and drink back at my base i was going to do a t3 clear got thirsty half way there said well no way im going into a poi with stamina regen cut.

saw a chicken killed it cooked it went to a river drank some water got the runs.-lost 30 hp from drinking river water ate the 2 burnt steaks to heal up-traded hp and food for water

went did my clear got back to base. no pot involved no boiling needed im trying to tell you people a simple tactic people who know and understand the game already do. Hunting wild game eating burnt steaks and drinking from rivers early game while not great-is net positive and a viable survival tactic.

You can literally survive with no trader interaction and never enter a poi or loot a single container. Why would you? that is a different topic.

Even better is when you find a vitamin or once you have goldenrod tea. Slurp up some murk and if you get the runs top it off with some tea. I agree that people shouldn't be afraid to utilize murky water at first.
