I only play in creative mode and not getting affected by this stupid player unfriendly pick up - unload through wifi system - turn back to pick up side and repeat the same xxx times, wasting my precious playtime.

i ask my self what is stupid here ! Devs developed a new system how to manage loot and inventory wich is may a bit raw but delivers f.E that your able to use as a source of rawmaterial containers connected to a constructor, even the output of the constructor can go directly to a container now. This is a hughe step in direction f.E automation wich was one of the bigger request players had (same for containers be able to connect to constructors) The system may need some tweaks but calling it stupid and playerunfriendly just cause your unable to see the advantages and got trapped on old paths is silly and unfair. If game development would work the way you suggest games would be boring and all the same. i can refuse. I suggest avoid buy early access games if your unable to play with major gameplay or mechanics changed while a game is in development
