I have an Altar Level 1, and the game states that the building area is 40x40x40 and thats also exactly what everyone says online. But I checked it, and its 80x80x80, its 40 in every direction.
So my question is: what the f*ck?

External link →Nope, turns out the game measures the building area in segments of 2 blocks.
At the risk of sounding sarcastic: did you not realize the blocks might be less than a meter a side when your character was next to a wall that was four blocks tall?
The Altar doesn't say 40 meters, it just says 40x40x40. Every math teacher ever would jump on this to say 40 What? 40 cows? 40 Apples? And in this case they would have a valid point as it is completely unclear what is meant by 40x40x40.
That's actually a good point. The localization should probably say "building area (in meters)". Other areas of the interface like the construction hammer's templates do reference meters, but this one doesn't and it probably should.
