Await Space Mining's New Launch

In order to fine-tune the experience, we are shifting our planned December Space Mining and Howling Mine release to Q1 2025.

We are as eager to share this project as we hope you are to participate in it, but the extra time will allow us to resolve key challenges and introduce this new system in the best way possible. We are committed to delivering a release that meets both your expectations and our vision.

Below is some insight into what will be included in the future release:

Space Mining

The new Space Mining system includes multiple new skills and professions, which will affect your overall effectiveness with the new space mining tools. There will be multiple series of tools, covering a wide range of levels and strengths.

Space Mining is done by finding different types of asteroids in space, and using mounted or attached tools to damage the asteroid.

The Prospector mining ship has more mining tool seats than any other ship and has tough and durable armor plating. It also has high-performance mounting points that allow the use of the most powerful mining tools.

Space

Space is getting a brighter future! Entropia Universe space is known for being a dark place, but we are implementing better lighting and backgrounds to make it easier for you to see its beauty; the true colors of space, and its inhabitants. This will help you identify mineable asteroids, while also improving general visibility when traveling the stellar landscape.

Bugs

We’re addressing various bugs, like the camera offset issue that appears when flying in space, and are committed to tackling as many fixes as possible.

Interplanetary Teleportation

We’re connecting all the Space Station teleporters, making it possible to teleport between planets through their space stations. We plan on making this fair to player-run transportation services in space by making the Interplanetary Teleportation possible only by using teleportation tokens. The Interplanetary Teleportation will have some restrictions compared to traveling on a ship, and the teleportation tokens are craftable and tradable.

Howling mine

The Howling Mine is a place where you delve into deep caverns, party all night long, hang out in the crafter's corner, or grab yourself an apartment with a view and become a part of the new space era. It’s a perfect spot for you to go to after your hard work in space and hang out with your friends and new comrades. Or why not take your enemy to the dance floor?
