[2021] It's been almost six months, but we still can't change the email address linked to our accounts. How much longer do we have to wait?

I get it, the game has higher priority issues than email change, but, really?, it's been months and it's still locked. Contacting support is also useless since they just reply to my request with a copy-pasted text stating "email change is currently unavailable".

I changed my main email address because of various security and privacy issues, but I still have to keep the old one alive just because of EFT. What happens if I lose access to the email address currently linked to my account, for whatever reason? Money down the drain.

Anyone got a suggestion on how to act? Is there someone I can contact directly (bypassing normal support) to escalate my issue?

edit: it's actually four months (for what I know, first email change request I made was 8th October 2020), not six, but point still stands.
