Looking through the posts on here in seeing a few people with similar experiences trying to get access to their account.

I purchased the game back in 2017 so keep that in mind. Also purchased the top tier supporter package because I wanted to support the devs as this looked like an incredible game.

I sent an email to support back in January 2020 asking to update my email address as it was an old work email that I no longer have access to anymore.

I got the usual response of need receipt of purchase and screen shot of bank statement showing the purchase. So I contacted xsolla and got a copy of my receipt, took a picture of the bank statement clearly showing the purchase.

They refused that saying they needed the PayPal receipt as it said PayPal next to the transaction on my statement. So back to xsolla I went trying to get a transaction id so I could get it from PayPal.

Xsolla say I didn't pay with PayPal, I paid with credit card. So I still went to PayPal and they did their best to try and find a transaction matching the amount and date of the purchase and found nothing.

I sent that info back to battlestate and they still refused to accept the proof of purchase.

I thought I would try to prove that the old email was mine so I took a picture of my old business card showing the email address and my full name along side a picture of my driver's license showing the same full name... Nope won't accept that.

They said to give them the first and last card numbers used for the purchase, so off I went to the bank again, got them to look up the transaction and give me the card number used (remember it was 3 years ago and was an expired card by now)

Sent that info to support and again I just get "that is not the correct billing information" one line answer.

So to be clear, I know my login and password, I can attempt to login but the two factor code guess to my old work email that I can't access.

I've sent the receipt from xsolla. I've sent the screen shot of my bank statement. I've sent my driver's license. I've sent my old business card showing the current email on the account. I've asked PayPal to find something that didn't exist. I've asked my bank for the card number used to purchase.

12 MONTHS later and I'm still no closer to just updating my email address....

All of this is not enough proof of purchase for battlestate to update my email address on my account.

I'm hoping that someone from there reads this and helps me out before I start down the path of legal action under australian consumer law because I feel like I'm just being screwed around for no reason.

As it stands I'm warning all my gaming friends to stay well away of buying this game because if they have ANY account issues they are screwed.
