I saw a comment saying that Tarkov's servers are run on 12Hz tick rate, it was 30Hz in the past and was reduced to reduce costs. Is that true?

Games usually run on 60Hz tick rate and competitve games, like CS:GO and Valorant run on 128Hz.

Tick rate is how many times per second the game produces and processes data, which has a huge effect on desync.
