It seems the AUG was added in a hurry with horrendous recoil and laughable ergonomics.
The A3 variant in the game is actually the civilian (M1) version.The Picatinny rails (high sight mount / low sight mount) would not fit on the AUG A3, only the AUG A3 M1 which is semi-automatic only. [1]
Also the A3 can take STANAG/AR 15/NATO magazines with a different stock. [2]
It would be nice if some components would be added:
Standard Steyr suppressor: Steyr UMS
Receiver Rail 30 Slots: CORVUS DEFENSIO A3 RECEIVER RAIL MOI 30 SLOTS
Receiver Rail 35 Slots: CORVUS DEFENSIO A3 M-LOK RECEIVER RAIL 35 SLOTS
Grip replacement: CORVUS DEFENSIO KEYMOD FORWARD ACCESSORY RAIL
Charging Handle: CORVUS DEFENSIO CHARGING HANDLE
Case Deflector: CORVUS DEFENSIO CASE DEFLECTOR
Enhanced Release Button: CORVUS DEFENSIO ENHANCED RELEASE BUTTON
Maybe also the "Steyr GL 40" grenade launcher or the "HK AG36" which fits also on the G36.
The Australian adaption (F88) the .300 Blackout and 9mm versions would also be great additions.
Rework its recoil and increase its ergonomics and price.
