I really appreciate these changes, they make the starting game far more tolerable for those not day one starters. But I would like to make a few more suggestions to it.
Add the 20 round mag for the SKS and drop the SKS's price, it can't compete on stats to the Vepr, either, so it only sensical.
Also would suggest the suppressors and needed mounts for the 7.62x25, .336 and 9x18 calibers weapons to give them more utility and carry more purpose since ammo currently dictates that 7.62x39 PS is your best round, but now choosing a suppressed weapon may make some kind of sense early and give them more play time.
Also there is a food and water drought at the start, especially if you're not good and die often. I would either remove or greatly increase food and water limits per trader cycle to alleviate this problem.
These are just a few that come to mind for now. After level 1 traders I feel it matters a lot less due to flea market and perhaps that is entirely another topic all together. But this would spice up lvl 1 and not only showcase the game more and more of it's functionality but just add some choices and diversity.
Keep up the good work BSG, and despite the problems, and pressure, things like this can be easy things that really boost player morale and confidence while the bigger, harder issues take longer to resolve. Cheers.
