[2021] I can’t log in the launcher. BSG asks for a phone? Anyone knows what is going on?

Today I wanted to play, as any other day, and the launcher asked for my password. I filled it, it is accepted, but the launcher does not continue loading.

I went to the EfT homepage to check whether my password is fine, I enter password, then the email 2FA, I copy the code I got and the a new thing! It asked for my phone number, so they can send me another verification code. I am not gonna rant now why the hell they want my phone number, but I entered it, and no code is coming. So, they basically cut me off the game.

Anyone has that experience? Or advice what can I do now?

This is rather disappointing, I have over 1000hrs and now it seems I am done?
