[2021] Pushing back the flea market and adding scav karma might have been the two best decisions BSG has made in years.

Not to say they haven't added cool stuff in the past, but this wipe is a night and day difference with how the community has acted toward each other in and out of raid. I feel like the community has naturally grown closer and raids have even been somewhat safer (especially as a scav). I think that's dope as f*ck.

I've been playing for 4 wipes and this is the first time since I bought the game where I've been addicted to Tarkov. I'm getting excited all over again to find much needed weapon parts in raid, or finally unlocking a trader. I'm actually going into raids to do as much there as possible, whether its doing missions, killing scavs, getting into firefights; doing any and everything I can do to squeeze as much XP as possible out of every raid so I can level up.

Speaking of firefights? I've approached them with a newfound confidence I've never felt in past wipes. I'm not super great at combat. But there's a level of assurance knowing that "this person likely wont have heavier armor that Lvl4 so my BT or BP will likely always penn him." I'm going into firefights now more focused on ways I can maneuver and flank, and not whether or not I'm going to get shredded on first contact by a Vector spitting 7n39 at me because I couldn't play for a few days after the wipe and now I'm behind.

Firefights are Satisfying, finding useful items in raid is satisfying, linking up with random players you have no way of communicating with except body language and trust, is extremely satisfying. This game is actually f*cking god tier this wipe.

I do kind of wish the flea would be pushed back even further to level 30 or 35 so it can be seen as a mid-late game unlock. It'd be right around the time you start getting big ticket items from quest completion. You'd have the option to then sell, say, a T H I C C case on the flea if you want extra cash because by then you've earned it. You've put in the hours and time and XP to get to that point, and now you can relax the grind a bit and prepare your quest for kappa- or just settle down at level 40 (like I do) and enjoy the game without the grind.

TL;DR version: Flea and Scav karma changes have made the game extremely fun
