[2019] Unpopular Opinion: I'd much rather have memes allowed on this subreddit than the constant slew of complaint posts about this week's "big issue"

Removing memes from the subreddit really makes this subreddit dry, as most posts are just complaints or suggestions starring this week's "big issue" (see thermal goggles this week). I like to browse this subreddit but after the top 5-10 posts it's just all complaints, issues, and bad suggestions. I'd like to be able to laugh and enjoy a fun subreddit rather than wade through dozens of bland, repetitive posts. Obviously memes regulate themselves, the good ones will be upvoted while the bad ones will be downvoted. Hell, even add a option to filter by meme flair or whatever so that people who don't want to see them don't have to, but r/TarkovMemes is dead and I'd much rather see some fun on here.
