30s authorist two kirins and two jackdaws so
32s it's sort of a variation on the theme
33s here you see all these sort of cerberus
35s although skila drake navy issues knights
37s all these sort of ships um fairly
39s interchangeable and this looks like a
40s fairly standard comp like that whereas
42s flaming dragons or uh entropic thunder
45s otherwise known on the other side have
46s brought something very very different
48s they brought two le shacks i believe the
49s first le shacks of the day and an
51s erosive prophecy three confessors two
53s purifiers and a punisher
56s yes both teams walked in there fairly
58s long range like
60s nc daughter all at the 50 while with the
63s um
63s framing dragon's team at staggered
66s ranges with their
68s battleships on tackle being at 30 and
69s their support ships at
71s 50. and yeah the lcd is having these
75s kirin logi frigates and they they can
77s direct two ships so they got a weakness
79s to em damage and
81s look at that uh the framing dragons have
84s three confessors fast cruisers with
87s strong lasers
89s so this could maybe something the if uh
92s and traffic thunder team can utilize on
94s to get out these um
96s logi uh freakish
99s yeah i think it's going to be really
100s really critical for these confessors um
102s what they can do in this match what they
103s can contribute whether they can keep
105s things pinned down for these shacks
106s because obviously those tracks need to
107s get on top of them and start ramping up
108s and if they're not able to do that it
110s severely uh hampers their effectiveness
112s but i'm also particularly worried for
113s these purifiers here i mean if you're in
115s a purifier and you land on grid and you
116s see two jackdaws two cerberuses and
118s authors you're thinking you're possibly
120s not long for this world um and these
123s prfs obviously pump out um torpedo
125s damage huge amounts of damage for the
126s point investment and yeah it's going to
128s be very very it's going to be a huge
130s task for daniel sunkist in the o'neills
132s to keep him alive but if he can do it
133s the payoff could be enormous
135s yeah so key thing in this matter i
137s believe is what the midslash
139s if you can put
140s weapon disruptions on these
143s missile ships you might be able to
144s easily keep your bombers alive and
146s likewise if you get tracking disrupters
148s on the shacks you can keep your smaller
150s ships alive and the match has begun and
152s we are seeing like the ncaa team pulling
154s back and spreading out a bit in the
156s meantime the
158s tropic front that they are also pulling
160s back with the smaller ships while the
162s bigger ships are trying to push in
164s they're taking damage on the jiangxian
166s in the confessor and julius and other
168s confessors also taking heavy damage like
169s the lucky pilot have to be really fast
171s otherwise these are going down yeah and
173s of course these iron boats are rep
174s supply at the end of the cycle so you're
175s very very tight on time and the first
176s compressor does go down and this is so
178s critical for for entropic thunder they
180s they want to stay compact so everyone
182s arrives on the scene at the same time
183s but they they're such a tough time
185s constraint because they they can't they
187s can't move slowly because they're just
188s going to get kissed around the arena so
189s they need these confessors to go and
191s tackle something but they don't want the
192s confessor to get too far ahead of
193s anything else um so it's very very
195s difficult for them to execute yeah so
196s and and she has having a projectile
199s lagging behind and he's taking damage
200s he's in vulnerable position the uh in
202s tropic fun that did lose their punishers
203s so there's already two title ships going
205s down meantime the nc team having all the
207s ships
210s yeah and it's going to be really really
211s hard for entropic thunder to get on top
212s of them if these confessors go down i
214s also just wanted to note that they only
215s brought prophecy for links which is
217s quite an unusual ship we don't see that
218s particularly of the tech one battle
219s cruiser uh i'm going to assume he has uh
222s two or three links fitted i think is
224s that the maximum you can fill on a take
225s one battle cruiser um obviously slightly
226s weaker than a command ship cheaper in
228s points as well but yeah it's just it's
229s not something we see very often but he
230s potentially could be like for example
232s newt fit in the high slots um but yeah
234s these confessors are so so critical to
236s this match and the second one of etria
237s is now taking chunks as well and daniel
239s sunkist is not able to keep him alive
241s and he goes down
243s yeah at this point is looking really
244s really bad for the intrepid thunder they
247s are losing these small ships and
250s yeah they're losing to this rapid heavy
252s rapid light missile ships this is like a
254s least thing you want to see with rely on
256s these small ships to get tackled at this
258s point like the sharks are trying to burn
260s in and trying to to get in shooting
262s range and we're seeing one being far
264s behind maybe he tried some
267s mjd things but he landed so out of
269s position
270s and the prophecy is in close but i'm not
273s sure if he can actually get tackled on
275s something long enough for the shacks to
277s do that work
278s yeah we've seen bomber going down we've
281s seen quite a few bombers so far today i
282s just wanted to talk about that a little
283s bit more i think we saw three of them
284s fielded by tnt who then um rather
286s swiftly lost as well and i think just
288s bringing bombs in general is such a huge
290s risk because there's so many ships in
292s the meta that are good that can apply to
293s them and nc dot seem to have brought
295s basically all of them they brought
296s jackdaw authoris cerberus gilas as well
298s like i said all these things absolutely
300s munch through bombers they devour them
302s for breakfast and
304s of course bombers apply best battleships
306s but this doesn't seem so far to be a
307s battleship focused meta in the last
309s alliance tournament um as i say this the
311s anirus is taking chunks and daniel
312s sunkist is probably not long for this
314s world but in the last alliance
315s tournament it seemed to be a three
316s battleship meta where you had vindicator
318s you had le shack and you had balgon but
320s with the flagship rule changes resist
321s rule changes various changes since then
324s it seems to be more command ship focused
326s and bombers slightly less effective
327s against that kind of meta
330s yeah at this point i get
332s ejected out of kutana it did take some
335s armor damage but it's getting reps again
337s and getting out of the shooting range so
340s it's going to look like a clean sweep
343s for the nc team so even though our
347s our nerds as the desk might have hold
348s and brush they did actually manage to
350s execute as well they it well and when
353s you take out these uh tiger ship
355s it's a good color tire calling as well
357s and at this point i just need to clean
359s up these uh the shacks like the drake
362s navy of
363s db blue is taking shield damage but i
366s think he can just catch reps and then
367s the tank
369s yeah this is all she wrote um in this
371s match at least for entropic thunder but
373s i just wanted to talk a little bit about
374s more about the comps because i feel like
376s this entropic thunder squad is so
378s the whole comp is so reliant on getting
379s on top of something and if you come up
380s against this shield com i mean you've
382s got to expect it at this point these
383s shield comps are so prevalent they're
385s absolutely ubiquitous everyone is flying
387s um these kind of ships all through
388s skillers etc and if you haven't got the
390s control to get on top of them with these
391s le shacks it's going to be very very
393s difficult to to actually make a
395s meaningful den in them and so i was just
397s wondering what you what you thought
398s about the com how would you switch out
399s if you were going to switch anything
402s uh like i think the first thing that
403s should have switched out is that bands
405s they left all these anti-frigates ships
408s open you get the uh looking at the
410s brands the entropic thunderband the
412s nighthawk the loki and the slavenia so
415s they left all these rapid light ships
417s open and this just
419s invites
421s someone to to pick up their that tackle
423s wing
424s and it just is exactly what happened
427s you you couldn't have
428s didn't have the
430s you didn't have your
432s yeah you're not you so your support wing
434s it wasn't protected there's nothing to
435s keep in my life i'm not sure if they had
437s that many
439s guidance disruptors
440s that was also a thing they could have
442s done swapped some of the ships for
443s something with the
444s with the guidance disruptors and that
446s could have

448s prevented the office and stuff to shoot
450s that far to apply that well but at this
453s point like
454s we see they make a mistake and now
456s they're paying for it
458s oh and the nc dot did lose the drake
460s navy issue they're not as tanky as the
462s nighthawks but they
464s certainly did well in this matchup and
466s that's also one thing you can talk about
468s the
469s drake navy issues versus nighthawks uh
471s neighborhoods are known to be these
473s really strong borders with the strong
475s links but the dragonair issue can be
477s rather good kiting ships with the heavy
479s missiles and they got the application
481s bonus so
482s they just make them even stronger
484s against smaller chips
485s yeah i completely agree especially about
487s the bands as well i think um they're
489s scared we saw um in the
491s uh alliance open last year that
493s nighthawk loki was like the favorite
495s archetype but
496s um clearly you can just sub these things
498s out there's so many different options
499s and with that nc are going to take a
501s commanding victory um over entropic
503s thunder who will go down into the lower
504s bracket and with that we'll send it back
