[2020] Patch Notes for February 2020 Releases

The Patch Notes for the February 2020 release are now available. As always, we will keep updating the main page with all subsequent point releases but to increase their visibility each update will also be posted in this thread.

There was an issue when using ctrl+a or ‘select all’ was not clearing the inventory badges, but now this method should function properly.

Removed some spam. Don’t spam please, no more warnings.

Thanks a lot for all the feedback on the inventory badge notification, aka ‘Red Dot’ you have been sending our way. Letting us know about your experience and actively reporting issues helps us greatly in the iterative process of EVE Online development.

This notification feature is designed to help newer players with discoverability of new items in their inventory, which - based on feedback and numerous user testing - has been a known pain point for them. Improving the lives of the Capsuleers who are just starting their adventure in New Eden remains a high priority for us this year.

But we do care about all of you and have been deploying defect fixes and feature changes over the past week based on your feedback and reports. The ultimate goal is to make the user experience of EVE easier to navigate for players of all ages and roles. We will continue to iterate and act on feedback in instances where this goal is not achieved so that the feature is useful to players of all play styles. Please continue sharing your thoughts with us on forums, Reddit and other social media channels – we are keeping a close eye on everything you say.

Don’t confuse a feedback thread for smartassery. CCL does pass along things we see on the forums to CCP.
