Your regular update on what's happening around New Eden! We’re here to share some of the amazing things that the EVE community have been creating, events that are in the works, and pay tribute to a fallen capsuleer.
A Man and His Orca
In the vast universe of New Eden, the tales of daring solo pilots often go untold. This week, we're thrilled to spotlight the incredible journey of a lone capsuleer in the video A Nomad Tale 15. We’ve featured Chloroken and his escapades before, but after months of meticulous planning, he’s back with a new adventure to share! From building all four Strategic Cruisers from scratch to then scoring kills with them, this three-and-a-half-hour odyssey is a masterclass in perseverance, strategy, and raw skill, making it a must-watch for every EVE enthusiast. Whether you're a veteran or a newcomer, this video is sure to leave you inspired!
Birthday Cake Ramp Up
What could be better than a Leshak for your birthday? A cake Leshak, of course! Arian Felou created this delightful confection to celebrate their partner’s birthday. It’s pewtiful, and also reminds us of the immense creativity and talent you bring to the game, both in and out of the capsule.
Alliance Tournament Feeders
Alliance Tournament XX is getting closer! The AT XX Feeder rounds will be held on the 24th/25th and 31st/1st. Don’t leave the strategy to only those competing—there are Twitch-chat predictions to win! Thankfully, tournament enthusiast Sho Menao has provided a detailed breakdown in his blog, EVE Tourneylytics, of what we can expect in the upcoming matches. Sho’s insights are sure to give you that competitive edge so you’re not left bemoaning your precious channel points! Dive into the analysis and get ready for some of the most intense action New Eden has to offer!
SKINR Chaos!
This week brought a much-requested feature to the ship SKINR tool, allowing you to design a SKIN using any color or pattern that exists without having to first own it. To celebrate this, EVE Partner and Twitch streamer Chaos1298 has created his own SKINR competition open to everyone with some fantastic prizes! Whether you're a SKINR pro or just getting started, there's a category for everyone. Showcase your talent (or lack thereof), and walk away with some serious PLEX prizes! If you’re SKINterested, hop on over to Chaos1298’s Discord before September 2nd and get designing!
f*ck Cancer
New Eden has always been a place where strong bonds are forged, and the loss of one of our own is felt deeply. Last week, we learned of the passing of Innominate, a well-known capsuleer and former CSM member who dedicated six years to representing the EVE community. Over nearly two decades, Innominate’s contributions to both the game and the community are incalculable. Friend and corpmate Merkelchen said it best:
“We are all better for having known him. If you did not have a chance to know him, please do not despair. Brad would tell you that you are part of an incredible community with incredible people and have nothing but potential in front of you if you only embrace it. Make friends, meet people, have too much fun, change your life with the impact they will have on you. Put yourself out there. Be nice to somebody you don’t know. Buy that confused nerd a drink at some meetup. Tell your buddies you love and appreciate them.”
Friends and fellow pilots will honor him starting at 00:30 later tonight in the systems of 1DQ1-A and U-QVWD, where all are welcome. If you can’t make it, the event will also be livestreamed on the RampageInc channel, where Nom would regularly fly with friends and, invariably, make you smile.

EVE Forever
When we talk about "EVE Forever", we speak not only of ensuring that this universe we’ve all built together continues to thrive for generations to come, but also of something far deeper. EVE Forever embodies the friendships, connections, and memories that transcend the game itself. These bonds, forged in the deepest parts of New Eden, often become a lasting part of our lives—etched into our very beings.
This week, we are particularly reminded of this truth. The loss of Innominate is a profound one, yet it also serves to highlight the incredible impact each of us has within this universe. Whether your accomplishments are grand or humble, short-lived or decades long, your presence and your contributions are what keep New Eden vibrant and alive.
EVE is more than a game—it’s a living, breathing universe, sustained by the people who inhabit it. It’s the stories we share, the battles we fight, and the friendships we cherish that ensure EVE truly is forever. As we honor those who’ve left a mark on this world, we are reminded that their legacy lives on through us, through the community, and through the countless memories we continue to create.
Fly safe, and thank you for being part of this extraordinary journey.
