None of you know me nor should you really..... I just want to take a second to thank you all...

About a year ago I was diagnosed with Cancer. I will spare you the details but the fight is still on but I appear to be winning. I know it's probably TMI and no one cares but I wanted to share and, once again, Thank you all.

Eve has been something I really look forward to most days. It helps me escape and it's really good at passing time (mining anyone?). Even more than that I feed off the pure sarcasm, rage, sh*t-posting and just general cold, ruthless asshole attitude of most players. If you were not all decent people it would be different, but most of you are.

I know it seems stupid but it has been a big part of keeping me going. Always good for a smile.

Special shout out to my bro's in Test and, specifically Brand Newbros, for putting up with me missing some fleets and such. Another should out to the tools in Volta who ganked my 3 Rorqs. I hate you guys but Eve.

Anyway, Thank you all. Just keeping being you.

So good to hear that you're doing well and are fighting it <3!

EVE helped me through some of the darkest times in my life too and thankfully I'm able to work on it now, which sometimes feels a bit ironic.

A big part of what kept me going when I was at my lowest wasn't the spaceships themselves (although they helped). It was the amazing people and the shared experience, running my corp and playing with people who've become some of the closest friends I've ever had.

The people are everything, and you're one of them. Keep fighting the good fight mate, and good luck with kicking the f*ck out of cancer - sounds like you're doing an amazing job so far!
