| 13s | I’m the CEO of an industrial corporation in EVE Online. |
| 16s | We are a five-man operation and we specialise in |
| 20s | manufacturing and delivering fully-fitted ships in bulk. |
| 25s | After huge battles where people lose thousands of ships, |
| 29s | then the next day what they’re doing is they are re-shipping right? |
| 34s | This is where my corporation comes in. |
| 37s | When we receive an order from a client |
| 39s | the first thing we do is separate everything |
| 41s | we analyse it |
| 42s | we look at all of the ship hulls, |
| 44s | all of the rigs,the ammo, the modules, |
| 46s | and then everybody just gets to work. |
| 50s | Some of us are going to be specialised in mining |
| 53s | or keeping an eye on the stockpiles, |
| 55s | and these primary resources are going to be picked up |
| 58s | by someone else to refine into components that you can start using for manufacturing. |
| 63s | Then in order to do this they are also going to need a blueprint |
| 66s | that is researched and ready to be used for production. |
| 73s | It’s a special kind of fun setting up the entire process |
| 75s | from the raw minerals to the finished product. |
| 79s | Imagine an alliance of thousands of people |
| 81s | that needs to refit and entire fleet |
| 84s | They just have to say “I want this” ... |
| 87s | and it just gets delivered to their doorstep |
| 91s | One of the most magical things in EVE is there are so many different ways to play |
| 96s | and different things to do that it can appeal to completely different people. |
| 102s | I think what makes industrialists different is that they are not driven by conflict. |
| 107s | They are the other side of coin |
| 109s | where they find their enjoyment in providing something for other people. |
