45s this beautiful cart mechanic we have so

152s very proud of now we're at a point where

245s and you bring them back to the safety
247s and warmth of your burrow craft useful

346s are based in Manchester but our team is
349s remote uh there is six of us uh we have
352s three people that are parttime and three
354s people full- time uh so we're all
356s wearing many hats we've been working on
359s this title for four years uh this is a
361s sequel for us so there's already a Your
364s Grace existing that we released in 2020
367s uh we're aiming to release this one
369s early next year which is the game on
371s Steam and we also have a demo available

442s so we look at this very very young uh
444s projects and I've been told we have a

449s have a delegation from game City Hamburg

460s um there are five amazing games from
462s Hamburg okay I think we got to check

467s then hi I'm Marcus I'm the solo
470s developer of Journey Beyond the Edge of
471s the world it's a first person Adventure
473s game that is set on a ship that was lost
475s at sea basically you try to figure out
477s who you are what happened to the ship
479s you do that by solving all kinds of
481s puzzles the story is said in the 1950s
484s and things get a bit surreal so there
485s are some sci-fi elements to it and yeah
488s it's a very atmospheric first person
490s game you can try it out here and on
492s Steam what do you need the most from
493s your fans definitely need wish list like
496s every Indie developer does so I'm pretty
498s early in the development uh there's a
500s pretty early demo playable now that
501s shows the mechanics and shows uh some of
503s the things that I'm trying to do with

530s out on Steam it's basically a Rog like

537s music piece um then you can unlock new
540s gadgets that will allow you for even
541s more musical possibilities so it's
543s really an experimental winding down sort
546s of Music Experience so it was really a
548s friend like who introduced Matilda to me
550s because she's a sound designer but also
553s designing like the game design of the
555s game it's a very unique game I think I
557s don't know anything about music so it's
560s yeah tough to make a music game that way
561s yeah but I think that's also what makes
564s it cool I try to explain a musical
565s concept to Sven he's like I don't get it
568s but I have a vision in my head now so
570s then he invents a machine in aada that
571s sort of visualizes that in a way that a
574s musician would never do it so I think
576s the combination of these two worlds
578s makes it a really weird but unique
581s experience so you said the game is
582s already out is there anything you want
584s to say to the community uh make some
586s music with aada we have a cool Discord
588s server where people share the songs that
590s they make we have a song export so you
591s can export it as a wave file uploaded uh
594s people have been making really
595s interesting songs so if you want to be
597s part of that if that sounds interesting

610s behind us is that this is all done by my
612s husband he's been working on this game
614s for six years and two in fulltime our
618s game is an action RPG you come to a
620s little island there are parts missing
621s and it's sinking and there's so many
622s wonderful people on this island you
624s don't want to let them down so you take
626s it onto yourself look for the missing
628s parts and Rescue the island when the
630s people maybe they've lost stuff like
632s cats cat mom lost her kittens so even
635s stuff like that there is pressure to
636s rescue it but you can do it in a chill
638s way okay that sounds very exciting about
640s saving cats if anything in the internet
642s works is like cats saving them cute
644s kittens we do have also dungeons that's
646s like okay okay so there's apparently
648s also the dark side to this okay yes yes
651s Dungeons and cats that's a good one
654s that's a good K and cats we need that
656s what are the next steps for you we're
657s pretty far along but we can't give any
659s details yet so I'd be very happy if we
662s get some wish list for our wonderful

671s party game you play with up to four
673s people in online or a local co-op you
676s have these little slimes that are swing
677s about the level and you have to absorb
679s them and then you can use the Ability so
681s basically you get a fire ability if you
683s absorb a fire slime or a water ability
685s if you absorb a water slime and then the
687s special trick is you can combine these
689s slimes together so water slime and an
692s air slime would then give you an ice
693s ability so it's all about finding these
695s combinations and which combinations work
697s best and then defeating waves of enemies
699s with these so I understand you're still
701s in development how far are you we're
702s currently working on the vertical slice
704s we're nearly finished with it yeah after
705s that probably going into a production
707s phase and we are calculating with 1 and
709s a half to two more years of development
