Verify your Game Files:

  1. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties .
  2. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files
  3. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take a few minutes

Relaunch the game and see if that does anything!

I am so sorry this is happening to you :( my technical knowledge when the above doesn't work is super limited. Support have your ticket now (I've seen it) and I've stressed that I've also spoken to you in the meantime. I really hope it's sorted soon :(
