Nothing justifies death threats or personal attacks in any way so anyone doing that deserves no understanding or latitude.
What I would say though, is aside from people taking it too far, perhaps a lot of the more reasonable hostility towards the community managers is fostered in the swamp of piss-taking and general shitposting we get aimed at us? I watch the Mediatonic stream every week and anyone who dares raise a legitimate issue or complaint gets roundly mocked or belittled, usually by Alan who shouldn't be the lead in dealing with the community on stream if he isn't a community manager. It was really refreshing to have Joe on last week because he actually seemed to genuinely care about the issues people were having and gave proper feedback about them.
Maybe the weekly stream isn't the right platform to raise issues, so we do it on Reddit, Twitter et al and get nothing in the way of timeframes or any kind of legimate transparency beyond "we're working on it" - I mean, for goodness sake your hatred of giving us dates for anything goes so far that none of us even knew the mid season update was dropping until we logged into the game and it was suddenly there.
Honestly, it's become so disappointing how people with legitimate complaints and feedback are being squeezed out of the community. It's not fun when you've just been screwed out of the crown on Fall Mountain for the 8th time this week while the official Fall Guys Twitter is saying "hAvE sOMe mEmE teMplAteS" - it's so tone deaf it's unbelievable. There are about 5k fewer members of this subreddit from the time I joined just one month ago because unless it's "haha look at what Yeetus did" you get buried, drowned out and downvoted into oblivion so people just walk away.
Forget the morons who attack you personally, but please for the love of god, stop the shitposts, stop the lack of transparency and please listen
