Main show. It's supposed to be the "anything goes" mode with all games a possibility and the fun comes in never getting the same run twice. So, why has there been a systematic effort to make that less and less the case? I've noticed for the last two weeks or so that I've been able to pretty much always predict the order of rounds in the later stages and so I did a little maths on my FG play today.

Now I will say that the randomness and variety is still there in the first 3 rounds of most Main Show runs but the final two rounds are increasingly becoming a procession of the same old games.

So, today I tallied the following from 18 runs on Main Show

I made the pre-final game 16 times and these were what I got

Hoopsie Legends 7 times (44%)

Wall Guys 5 times (31%)

Tail Tag 2 times (13%)

Fruit Chute 1 time (6%)

Block Party 1 time (6%)

Any team game 0 times (0%)

So, getting to a pre-final today has meant a 75% chance of getting Hoopsie Legends or Wall Guys. 75% ! In a game mode that's supposed to be all about the variety of runs, 3/4 pre finals have been boiled down to two games.

Now I will tack on to the end the fact that of the 10 finals I made it to, 60% were Jump Showdown with the other 3 finals sharing the 40% between them, which is also a bit BS but obviously it's not as mathematically sound as the pre-final numbers because if I had made more finals I would likely have seen more variety but if we take RF out of the picture because of it's rarity, I still don't feel like the other 3 finals come up 33.3% of the time each.

This also isn't just a random snapshot of data from a random day, I think anyone who plays a lot will confirm this tallies with their experience of playing the game lately as well.

Is this something that's going to be addressed in the update next week? Ironically with fewer maps, season 1 seemed to give more variable runs than we're seeing now.

Yeah, we are getting this feedback a lot. Of course, with the update and new map - you WILL see that map quite a lot which is expected, but the rotation won't be so heavy towards the S2 maps and the older maps will be more in rotation. I can't quite articulate the balance - for example, I can't tell you "You will 100% see block party a lot more!" but it should feel more varied.

Sooooo you are doing anything to fix it?

Listen closely to this, it is indeed a HUGE problem.

The problem arose because people complained in the beginning of Season 2 that the changes of getting one of the new levels from season 2 was too low. Then you adjusted the probability WAAAAAY to high up so we now basically only get the new levels (god, i am sick of Knight Fever). Make is EQUALLY likely to get each level - and then its fixed.

Btw you created this problem yourself by not adding more new levels. If there were, say, 10 new levels, this would not be as big a problem you know...

As mentioned in my last comment, there will be changes to the rotation that help it feel varied for players old and new, and we'll keep an eye on feedback as it goes. As we have a good number of levels coming for S3, that should further help.

There will be changes? Alright, that's good, but why does it have to take so god damn long time? You REALLY need to be able to act and fix problems much much faster. This has been a problem now for... the last two weeks?

EDIT: my point is, this problem literally takes a programmer 2 seconds to fix.

You dont have to wait until the mid season update or next season to fix these issues. Seriously an issue like this is literally life threatening to Fall Guys - alooooooot of people will drop the game because of this. One of Fall Guys greatest aspects is the large pool of levels.

I'm pretty new here, so I'm careful not to chat about things that pre-date me as I won't have the information to match it.

But I can say that I have been brought on as well as many, many others to help build the game out and match demand. I can't comment much on those programming elements right now, but I can keep you updated on our current roadmap, and relay feedback for updates. :)

Playing the season 3 maps over and over again will get old for some people at some point as well. For me it would be ideal if the frequency of new maps would be made equal to older maps after 1-2 weeks. Or perhaps reduced over a certain period of time.

This is the second time someone has relayed this idea to me! Once the S2.5 launch is out next week, we'll chat as a team to see if that's something we can do!

Edit to add: By second time I mean, it's a really good idea and it's the second time it's been raised! Just to clarify tone. Not like Oh MaAn SECOND TIIIME.
