[UPDATE 2] Bee DMed me on reddit saying I will get the MD, she didn't hear the joke and disapproved of it. tysm!
[UPDATE] support got back to me saying they've passed it along to the social media team who will "check everything on their end and, hopefully, find a solution for you." I'm not expecting anything to come of the support ticket, but it's a start. I'm probably going to end up DMing Abbie but I'm gonna go through with the ticket first.
In the livestream today, August 17, 2021, I was in one of the squad games with the CMs; my squad and theirs were the only two in the final, which was roll off. a bit of the way in, Alan said that, quote: "If you guys chuck yourselves in and you're watching, we'll give you each a Magic Dragon" a bit later, it was just me and one of them, and I jumped off into the slime, giving them the game. However, they then proceeded to ignore that (after acknowledging that it was, in fact, me throwing, might I add), and, from what I heard from others on the Discord server who were watching the stream after I had tuned out to clip it (provided a bit further down), made a lousy excuse that "anyone who follows MT should know that it was a joke." I would not just throw a game if I knew they were joking. Alan promised a magic dragon, and then proceeded to go back on his word regardless of any excuses.
Immediately after, I saw that many people in chat were on my side, and several streamers/big(enough) names whose Discord servers I'm in/saw the clips, including doctorfallguys, Anthemum89, and SillySparklingDragon also agreed that MT is in the wrong here. A couple of moderators and helpers on the official Discord also agreed that it was promised, so it should be received. I've contacted support on the matter roughly 8 hours ago as of posting. Hopefully they get back to me tomorrow.
I'm upset that the CMs would make a promise like this and then go back on it, claiming it was a joke as an excuse, just for a free squads win. I wouldn't have thrown if I didn't believe that they meant it.
