I've not seen any other players do this for some reason!

I know that the punchboxes in the middle of the map seem like a bad idea to go across instead of using the icy side bridges, but use the punchboxes. dooooo ieeetttt.

Stand on top of a punch box in the first row, wait for it to spring, and immediately dive forward. Easy pass through. You don't have to hop over them all when they're down, just use the first one you land on as a spring to the other side.

A tip for tundra run. I’ve not seen any devs talk about this for some reason! You rag doll if you jump on the gloves.

Yeah I've mentioned it a few times on this sub and it's been added to our issue tracker! We're working on that at the moment.

Oh I do that. The problem is, as always, you sometimes ragdoll the moment you land on the punchbox and you cannot control your fall.

The ragdoll issue is an issue for sure (we're looking into it) but a well-timed jump to the middle in which you DO NOT MOVE for a bit seems to solve it.

IMHO it might be even easier to just fly over the punchbox section altogether using the fan under the checkpoint, than trying to do what /u/trichoglossusbee is suggesting.

Like this (trick is at 27s mark)

The surfaces on those those punchboxes are just so treacherous that it's better to not to try any funny business.

I keep trying this but hitting the first punch box and sliding to death, goddamn

never again the gloves. 1 random rag doll means you lose out to people taking the easy ice path.

I do want to practice flying over the gloves on the wind. I've seen people do it. HOW DOES IT WORK!!!

Do you have to basically hit the air current from as high as possible with little forward momentum? Like you jump dive and hit the air stream at the end of the dive before your bean starts falling?

SAME!!! Someone has put a good video here, and I find it SO hard to do myself without falling flat at the first box!
