External link →No idea if this is going to be helpful, but anyway...I’ve played the game for at least an hour most days since release. I remember the desync back in S1 being pretty bad, but then S2-S3 it definitely improved. For example Penguin Pursuit was just a really good level, and desync didn’t really seem like an issue. However since the S4 update, it’s probably worse than it was in S1. I feel like it has steadily gotten worse in S4 too, with the early hotfix and then 4.5. Obviously a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes, and I haven’t the first idea on how to get past these problems...But I dunno...Can you guys tweak it back to what it was like in season 2 and 3 lol

Unfortunately it isn't easy to revert - sometimes changes are introduced when there are new rounds that require alterations to physics holistically. That isn't to say that things can't still be improved, but we can't revert back in simplistic terms.
Basically what you see here might be 5 or 6 compounding elements that need to be tweaked individually, and tested for knock-ons into different levels, etc. If that makes sense. So it is unfortunately never as simple as we want it to be, but qualatative feedback (such as Pegwin Persuit felt great in S3 and here's why, and here's when things felt best) still helps the team pinpoint which changes might be knocking on into these. I hope that makes sense and I will pass it along!
I played one even worse than that a couple days ago. There were at least 5 people that became human cannonballs. Thankfully I wasn't on the same platform as them towards the end. I didn't capture it unfortunately.
The video that is linked here will help when it comes to a visual representation of what goes wrong - the most helpful things are logs so that we can also look server-side at what might be happening, but those logs have to usually be caught quite quickly. Does this happen after you are eliminated, but before the round is over?
