[2020] What’s going on with sneak?

Apologies if this has already been talked about, I’ve been mia for awhile now, just turned it back on today. Loving the update for the most part, but did they nerf sneak into the ground or am I missing something? I just went into the asylum, looked down the long hallway to the right of the entrance and saw a 3* ghoul alllllllll the way down at the end. Was crouching the whole time, and as soon as I brought my gun up to snipe him, he was 3/4 of the way down the hallway, charging at me? I’ve stood right next to these guys before and they can’t see me, how the heck did he see me from the end of a 90 yard hallway??
