Had problems a couple of times last night.
1. Ran into this last night doing the prime meat near to the mole miner village.
Once i'd finished banging the drum, i spotted a couple of scorched chasing a regular molerat, no problem, i can ignore them for a minutes while i kill the cave crickets. Which didn't show up.
Thinking it might be delayed due to the existing mobs i run down and kill the scorched and the molerat. And the prime animals still don't show. I look around and find a patrol of strikebreaker gutsy moving towards the bait post. I run down and kill them too. And the prime animals still don't show up!
About 20 seconds after killing the last gutsy, i get the prime animal markers show up and run off to kill them.
Even with the usual late arrivals (the ones who want to be there for the final wave to get their 3 meat, i get it, there's plenty of stuff to kill on the way) we failed the event.
They traveled in thinking they had timed it to get a few shots on the final beast but due to the delayed spawn we were only just starting the 2nd wave. Even with their extra fire power, we just didn't have time to kill everything, once the timed delay between waves had done it's bit too.
We failed a prime meat, how embarrassing is that!
2. The prime animals for the hunt near the top of the world are too curious?
I beat the drum and stand and wait. The animal markers show up but they don't get any nearer. I run up the hill and the bears have buggered off in the other direction, past the patch of water and were attacking some guy in his camp!
I kill the bears and the next wave comes along and i only just get back to the bait post in time to stop them killing the last bramin!
Final round comes along and the hermit crab copies the bears and buggers off up the hill to attack the camp!
Yeah, failed that one too :(
Quick question, banging the drums at the cookout, does it need to be constant or is it a 20 second thing like well tuned? I leave my mule banging away most of the session, but would it be more use if i get it going back and forth between the drums and turning the spit?
