[2021] The Bug for buying items out of vending machines that are NOT on sale IS STILL HERE after 1 1/2 years.

Every once in awhile someone will buy something from me that is NOT for sale in my vending machine. Its usually crappy food, scrip weapons, crappy apparel. Well today my BE LMG was bought from my vendor without it ever being up for sale. The bug is still here and was NEVER PATCHED.

Quick Debunk on what people think is a 'fix':

Players just buy out your stock and the vendor will refill with other loot.

• No this is not at all how this works. People think that this is how the bug works and proceed to put crappy items in their vendors for 30k caps or 40k caps now. I can confirm myself that this is not how this bug works as I have several items at 40k caps in my vendor yet people still buy items that are not for sale.

Only personal fix I have found for this is to put Atom Store skins on your weapons and armor. Since it has the atom store skin on the item cant be traded or dropped preventing the player from getting it.
