There just isn't anything to do anymore. My base is built. My alts are leveled. My builds are good. The only thing that was left to do was farm legendaries and scrip them in hopes of the elusive god rolls. That gameplay loop was enjoyable. I could log in, check out people's shops then start my farm route.

I haven't seen a decent player vendor since the "bug fix". I've run out of my stockpile of scrip legendaries for the first time ever. I was rotating 4 characters daily through the purveyor. Now I can barely do my main's daily scrip limit.

Please stop ruining the game. It used to be really fun.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback on this, u/glorf12. We've released a hotfix today that addressed non-legendary creatures from incorrectly displaying "legendary" in their name. (Hotfix notes are here)

Partnering with that, we released an Inside The Vault article addressing these lower than ideal drop rates;

Additionally, after reading your recent feedback and monitoring legendary item drop rate data, we’ve confirmed that legendary items are still dropping at a lower than intended rate in the world following the hotfix we released on July 18. We are actively working toward a fix, but it’s important to us that we get this right. As a result, it will take a few additional days to address this issue, and we’ll be sure to let you know once we’re confident that drop-rates have risen back to pre-Patch 11 levels.

We will continue to monitor the data and look at the feedback we see here and on our official forums and social media, and will let you all know when we feel the rates are back to what they were pre-Patch 11. Thanks for being patient with us as we address this.

I think you may have me confused for someone else, I've never been on G4 and gamergate was before my time in this industry.

This doesn't address the issue of the fact that there are significantly fewer legendary spawns and items drops. :( I love this game, I have 2 accounts, I have bought copies for friends and have spent a lot in the atom shop. I would like to continue to do so but

1) the predatory atom shop pricing needs to be brought under control, bundling items in bundles that cost 1/3 of the price of the game is scummy, I understand that it's not reasonable to expect that someone would be able to afford to buy everything in the shop but I shouldn't have to drop $20 just to get a flag, or a power armor paint... That's unreasonable and not customer friendly.

2) Stop adding stuff no one asked for and fix the bugs that have been in your game (or have been added to your game) over the last 8 months. A non functioning friends list at this stage is laughable, is there literally noone testing this stuff before it goes live? Can't add people to your friends list, can't fast travel to your friends, can't hear half of the people in area chat, can't use the trade menu...

3) please for the love of all that is holy fix legendary drop rates, as it has been said, farming for high end stuff is all that is left at end game, I can only make so many new characters.

Please, I love this game, I want to continue playing and purchasing things from the atom shop but you are making it too painful.

You are correct, which is why I included the paragraph that came with the Inside The Vault in my comment. They will increase, but we want to make sure we get this right so it's going a few additional days to get these to drop back to the level they were at Pre-Patch 11. The current drop rates are not permanent.

As for your comments on the Atomic shop and other bug issues, we are actively always looking at feedback and issues raised by players and raising them as well. We understand the frustration on bugs and are working every day to address these and player concerns. I wish I could comment something here that would immediately alleviate these concerns for you but these things take time, and I want to thank you for being patient with us. That being said, we have a panel at Quakecon tomorrow at 12 EDT/10CDT where we're talking about what is coming to Fallout 76 and we're going to try and fit in player questions at the end if we still have time. If you have anything you'd like to submit as a question you can post them in here.
