[2021] Social tab doesn't display friends since the new update. is this a bug?

me and a bunch of friends updated our games today just to find out we can't play together because all of us couldn't access the friends tab and couldn't join or invite each other. is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

i am LAN and i tried network and DNS flush but didn't fix the issue.
