I didn't put your full gamertag because that would be rude, but if you see this, you'll know who you are. You visited my camp yesterday.
You were a level 100 something in power armor. I was a level 27 and had just recently finished some detail-touches on my C.A.M.P.
I didn't notice you approach my base. Not until I saw my garage door opening out of the corner of my eye. I ran downstairs to see who had entered my new home when I saw you.
Cool! A high-level has come to visit. That's dope, all are welcome to use my workbenches and stash boxes. I even leave one of my water purifiers unlocked for passerby.
You ran around my camp a bit checking things out. After you had toured the bottom floor, and played with the garage door a bit, you went upstairs.
At this point, I noticed your name.
Negan.
My level of concern rose pretty f*cking sharply after this realization.
I let my friends know that a player who chose the name of a character famous for killing people and taking their stuff had just shown up at my base. I told them to be prepared to fast travel to me if needed.
I debated putting on my own power armor at this point, but I'm specced for explosives and even if I could hold my own against you 1v1, the fight would destroy large portions of my newly finished camp.
So I waited.
Then, unexpectedly, you exited your power armor, walked over to a couch, and took a seat. You chilled out for a bit, walked around looking at the balconies, got back in your power armor and went downstairs.
If I remember correctly, you played with the garage door/terminal one more time, and looked at how my wires were set up to connect everything.
Then, you gave me a thumbs up and left.
I just wanted to say, it was a delight having you as my first guest. The thumbs up was greatly appreciated!
I imagine my base as a hub for players to be able to repair/scrap/store/cook/go AFK during their travels (If this game ever progresses to the point where I can run a tavern selling drinks/food to other players, my god), and it was great to have someone come by and genuinely seem to appreciate/be interested in the place so soon after completion.
Lesson learned: Don't judge a player by the name they choose.
