[2019] How Do You All Feel About A Universal Storage Container?

Ok so what I'm thinking is a specific storage container (Mailbox) and you put the things you want to transfer to another character. The items can then be accessed in the main menu to be transferred to the any of the other characters you may have. The second character can then access the items in there own Mailbox.

Char1(Item1)--->Mailbox1(Item1)--->Main Menu(Item1)--->Mailbox2(Item1)--->Char2(Item1)

Or cut off the middle man and have the Mailbox as the universal storage for the characters.

Edit: u guys remember the pipboy app back in fallout 4? Could bethesda use that as ground work for the universal stash?
