So with the new system for getting legendaries you need to do a quest line, get gold bullion, and then pay 50 scrip and mats to make the gun. You are not guaranteed a 3 star in this process. Let’s just assume you are guaranteed a 3 star for sake of argument. The chance of getting a 3 star roll you want is as follows: Melee Weapon - 1/480 Ranged Weapon - 1/1386 Armor piece - 1/2574 It costs 1 legendary module to craft at a cost of 50 scrip. Therefore the amount of scrip needed, and days it will take to get said scrip (assuming 150 per day) in order to reach a threshold where you are most likely to get said roll for each category is: Melee Weapon - 24000 Scrip and 160 days Ranged Weapon - 69300 Scrip and 462 days Armor Piece - 128700 Scrip and 858 days Lmao! Where does Bethesda get off thinking that this is a reasonable mechanic? I also want to know why nobody in the beta testing told them this probably wasn’t a good idea. My math isn’t even taking into account you aren’t guaranteed a 3 star roll. So probably double a lot of those numbers. Allow us to customize legendary effects on gear.
