Really can’t praise enough how helpful it is to be notified of the new event activating, saves me so much time and effort checking the map every 5 minutes.
Maybe in future it would be helpful if we could hover over an event and have a “notify me when this event activates” option so we can get alerted when certain events start.

We are STILL WAITING for our "event timers" so we dont waste 40 caps travelling across the map for Dane's that has 25 seconds left...or an event that actually already ended with an icon that is still hanging around for some reason... /u/Ladydevann
We're still working out a way to do event timers. The issue is there are certain events with "fail" conditions that can skew the timer, so you could potentially fast travel to an event and have it fail.
