[2019] Ballistic Bock beer does not work with the LMG or the 50.cal machine gun. Is this intended?

Ballistic Bock should give you +15% ballistic weapons damage, and makes it wear down 15% faster as a counterpoint.

Except for that it doesn't work with the guns that needs it the most, the heavy weapon ballistic guns.

My 10mm smg received extra damage from the drink, but my main guns (LMG and 50.cal) did not.

So i'm making this post to ask if this is intended, or broken? Any info or experience you might have had with this, is greatly appreciated.
