[2019] FARMERS BEWARE!!! Scrapping Food at your camp will permanently add budget and there's no way to get it back

So like most people that grow food you occasionally have some dogs or rats that chew up all the foods, you scrap and re plant them so you can repair...well the past couple of times this has happened I have lost plants had a total of 6 gourds before the patch and now I'm down to 1...when it came down to the last 2 I have video proof me coming to my camp saving my plants from rats go to scrap and re plant and was only able to plant 1 because budget has been exceeded...anyone know of a fix/work around besides the Bethesda support method of scrap everything and start over?
