[2020] "Disconnected due to having modified game files" bug

Inb4 "stop using cheats/mods". I don't. It's a newish computer and a fresh install maybe 2 months ago, have not installed a single thing other than their updates. Going to log on after the maintenance today and it's giving me this error message. I launch through steam and have restarted steam multiple times but don't see any update to the game files that I should be downloading.

Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: Someone commented that verifying the game files through steam may help. Just tried it and it did not work, unfortunately. I'll update if I find a fix.

EDIT 2: Looks like the issue was just that Steam was lagging behind. I just now got a very small update through steam, update took all of 5 seconds, and I was then able to log on. Thanks for the quick response Valseek!
