Bethesda I have been a long time fan of many of your games, but this patch may have put a lot of fans like myself over the edge. It does not look well after doing interviews and talking about how you engage the public and listen to our input but this happens.
I am not asking for an apology or even any excuses. What I am asking for is not to go dark with communication every time a major patch goes out and fails. The worst thing a company can do is over hype a product or update and then release a subpar version of it. Please just respond to us and let us know that you have acknowledged our concerns and frustrations. Let the community know if there are any plans for a hotfix or rollback.
Going dark after a major patch designed to fix bugs that only introduced a whole new set of problems just makes things worse. Please help stop the rumors and the hatred towards the game by just acknowledging the games community. We are not asking for inside information, but simply what to expect in the next few days.
Thanks,
EDIT: After writing this post I have been able to go back an see some of the posts after getting onto a computer. I am glad there have been some responses from the CM's but I wish it was a little more then the average "Thanks and we are investigating" but understand the CM's hands are tied. I still stick to my original statement that I have loved this franchise over the years to much to not see it succeed. I still say the best way to help with the community fear is to communicate transparently and not with cookie cutter answers.
