Welcome back to another Inside the Vault! This week, we’re sharing how you can join us in the Public Test Server (PTS) to playtest our upcoming Locked and Loaded Update. You can also watch our latest Dev Dive video to take a closer look at C.A.M.P. Slots and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts with members of the Fallout 76 Development Team. Read on to learn more.

THE PTS RETURNS!

📷

If you’ve been waiting to dive into the Public Test Server to try our “Locked and Loaded” update for Fallout 76, then we’re pleased to announce that we’re planning to bring the PTS online starting March 12. In addition, we’re excited to share that this update is currently slated to launch on April 27.

For those of you who play Fallout 76 on PC through Bethesda.net, we would love to see you in the PTS for another round of playtesting, feedback, and bug reporting on new features, like S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts, C.A.M.P. Slots, the Daily Ops expansion, and more. Thank you once again for your patience while we worked to implement these features and ensure that they’re ready for you to check them out.

EARN A PTS PENNANT FOR YOUR C.A.M.P.

Don’t forget, you can earn a new PTS-themed Pennant for your C.A.M.P. in the live version of Fallout 76 by playing the Test Server. Make sure to play for at least one hour per day on three different days while the PTS is online, and we’ll add the Pennant to your account shortly after we release our next game update.

Once you’ve had the chance to playtest the new features, be sure to stop by the PTS forum to share your thoughts and experiences with us. Keep an eye on @Fallout on Twitter, and the Fallout 76 forums, where we’ll let you know as soon as the PTS is live.

DIVE INTO C.A.M.P. SLOTS AND S.P.E.C.I.A.L. LOADOUTS WITH THE DEVS!

Recently, we sat down with Alyssa Dettling, Don Etgeton, and Jake Raymor from the Fallout 76 Development Team to chat all about C.A.M.P. Slots and S.P.E.C.I.A.L Loadouts, two new features that we’re excited to bring to you in our Locked & Loaded Update. Watch our latest Dev Dive video below for an in-depth look at how C.A.M.P. Slots and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts will work, and to hear thoughts from the team during the development process.

any news on the invisible display weapons or the EXTREME stutter that was introduced with the latest patch? u/ladydevann

We've given a list to Dev of the invisible weapons in display cases for them to investigate and log. As for the stutter can you specify where/when you see it so I can make sure this is a known issue and not a new one?

ahh, totally missed your reply! first of all, thanks. :) as for the stutter, hard to specify because it happens all the time and everywhere for seemingly no reason. people say it has to do with windows 7 and that you‘re already aware, but i‘m windows 10 and my game stutters more than ever before. all just after the latest update. but the PTS is running great, so maybe that‘s fixed already. :)

No worries! Can you tell me some of your system specs?
