So does firing up on Steam zero your Atom balance on Bethesda, or can you have two running Atoms accounts that are just separate?

I'd rather play it on Steam, even more so if I can run both to farm atoms, but I'm leery of launching it just in case.

Couldn't find any definitive info on it.

Atoms are specific to the launcher they are earned on. So any atoms you earned on Bethesda.net will stay there until they are used, and any atoms earned on Steam will stay on Steam. Purchases carry over between the two launchers, though.
