[2019] Game Crashed and both characters reduced to level 1

I was doing Primal Cuts, my game crashed to the Xbox dashboard, and upon returning, both of my characters were reduced to level 1. I still have all my inventory and perk cards equipped, although all my special stats are level 1. To top this off Bethesda apparently lost my email for their accounts, because I could log into to submit a ticket, and I have yet to receive my forgot password email.. Gotta make a whole new email I guess, I'm not holding my breath to get my levels back, but I'm going to try I suppose. Has this happened to anyone else? Can't lie, kinda sad right now..

Edit: Somehow it fixed itself, but it was scary until it did..
