[2020] Base weapon damage decreasing every time I log on. Any help?

Anyone else having this same problem with their weapons?

I have a two shot explosive Gatling lazer that was originally at 40 dps but then went down to 38 dps and is now 36 dps. This is driving me nuts because it now takes significantly longer to kill a scorch beast and the gun is becoming next to useless in the damage it deals. Nowhere near like it used to be.

Granted, I have the grounded mutation equipped, however, that brought the dps down to 40 originally. No reason why it should slowly continue to lose its damage overtime. I have no diseases or addictions.

Any help is appreciated.
