When someone comes to my shop I always have a huge mental debate. Do I run away so they don't feel pressured to buy? Do I stay and give them heart emotes when they do buy? Am I hoovering!? The excitement and anticipation make me act so weird.

Lol. I always try to remain a bit aloof. Like, la la la, just doing some crafting here, making some minor adjustments to a sofa.... hm? Oh is somebody here? I didn’t notice.
Haha! I did that last night, starting cooking while I waited, but my vending is above my crafting so I couldn't see if they were still there which made me stop every three seconds to run up the stairs or check my map. I should have just put my mic on and yelled "PLEASE BUY MY AMMO SO I CAN BUY MORE CAMP PLANS I AM CAP BROKE"
