I'm not sure how many people realize that when a nuke is launched you can actually see it leaving the silo. These picture are near the silo doors for Site Alpha, my base happens to be nearby. The missile does drop some panels from it shortly after launching but they sort of fade away before they can hit the ground. What I am not sure of is if the silo blast doors actually open up. I guess that's my next picture.
