While we have community mods that are passing information to the team from the community, the discussion seems very one-sided and communication hasn’t been entirely clear or concise from the dev side.

Bethesda asks for community feedback, and there is tons on this subreddit alone, let alone their official forums.

However, the commentary isn’t reciprocated which is leading to players in the community to feeling frustrated and being not heard.

This should change. This needs to change.

While there are a lot of current issues with the state of FO76, I still believe it can be salvaged (pun intended). Bethesda can redeem their reputation and it starts with active communication to the player/fan base.

At least then, players can start having some faith that the game will get better and not “come in a future update” which doesn’t/won’t mean anything to players who have already left, or on the verge of giving up. This statement only pushes players over the edge that they already had a hard time grasping onto.

Bethesda - talk to us.

EDIT: - This gained some traction. - It’s clear that players care and are frustrated about the current state of communications from the dev standpoint. Bethesda - please thoroughly read what your players are saying here.

EDIT 2: - Thanks for the silver! My first! - Thanks for the gold! Another first! - Thanks for the platinum! Again a first!

Hi u/spectral000,

The feedback we receive on Reddit, and forums, and social continue to be the most valued and helpful in determining what gets fixed and implemented when and where. Patch 6 is currently scheduled for next week and should address several issues we’ve been seeing people post about (and more) including:

  • Scorchbeast scream frequency
  • Dead tamed creatures causing C.A.M.P. budget to increase and never decrease
  • Rad worms increasing all player effects by 50%
  • Accidental damage to another player’s C.A.M.P. causing a WANTED status
  • Items accidentally being lost in the hopper during “Feed the People”

That’s to name a few. Beyond that, we are working on getting the roadmap up so everyone knows what we’re planning through 2019. We are aiming to get that posted by end of the month at the very latest.
