[2019] When you play this game with a clear head, no expectations of what you yourself want from this game and just explore, it's a great experience.

I implore everyone to start a save and just leave the vault and explore, I've done a few quests actually listening to the holo tapes and learning about the lore and it's so interesting, the quests could be slightly better but they're good at telling the story of what happened.

Also just exploring is great, I've actually stopped to check small towns and learn about the events that transpired there, really is better then just running through and looting everything, found so many small details which make for an even better experience.

I've also interacted with way more people too, usually I run past them but i stopped by in Helvetia, it has a cardboard cutout where you can place your head, some high level guy ran past, positioned his head inside one, I took a picture and he done the same for me, he then dropped me some plans, ammo and supplies and went on his way.

Another instance, some guy was hassling me, I then hear a whistle and a MIRV rains down on this guy, another player overheard him mocking everyone and destroyed him, I thanked him and he dropped me some plans and completed an event with me.

Sure this game has problems, but it really is a great experience. Probably a lot of these wholesome posts and I don't want to come across as a fanboy but just wanted to post something positive I've personally experienced.

Edit: glad a lot of people can relate and it’s nice to see you guys enjoy exploring too, I don’t usually post here because people will be cynical about anything, I’m in no way saying PLAY this game, I’m just recommending another method that worked for me, not sure why people always find a way to put someone down if they don’t agree with them.
